Adam gives us an account update

For those of you who haven't already seen, Adam has outlined the procedure for integrating forum accounts with your character accounts. Take a look:

Oh, and we're building our Achievement Solutions list. Please contact us if you have definite solutions for the Witchery 40k, Fan Art Winner, and Randomly Awesome achievements. They *have* been unlocked by certain characters, it's just a matter of if they will tell us how they achieved it. >_<

Promised Update

What's up Twin Skies fans!! We have some awesome news for everyone; it has been announced that you can sign up for an account. Once you have created an account, you will be able to send scores in games, to earn site currency, and unlock achievements (there are currently 9 of them).

If you were impatiently waiting to play Om Nom Nom, you will be happy to know that it had been released too! Ready, set, munch!

"BIG CHANGES are afoot"

BIG UPDATE from Adam!

Adam has created a topic on the forums outlining some of the biggest changes that will be hitting Twin Skies over the next week or so. In it, he outlines account a couple of things: we'll be able to create a temporary character to reserve names (class AND race; this can be changed once the game launches). For now, these temporary characters are just "forum avatars" more than anything (quote Adam).

There will also be SEVEN major achievements that are put in place to keep us entertained!

Om Nom Nom should be here on Thursday, they hope.

Adam also said, "we're moving over to a completely new authentication system we may have to delete some posts and/or usernames. We'll try as best as we can to make the transition as painless as possible, it's just that it's going to be a lot of work, and with PAX coming up we may not have a choice. It's probably going to be messy…" Also, "we'll definitely try and keep the ranks, well, at least the post count. The ranks are going to change when we move to the new account system."

Summary:

• "Placeholder" temporary characters
• Om Nom Nom being released Thursday (hopefully, they said)
• High score tables and being able to earn "site points"
• 7 achievements to attain/unlock
