The Controls

All you have to do is to move your mouse in time before the grub takes a bite. At the left of the game screen, you can see the shape of your next bite. At the bottom of the game screen, you will notice this fancy animation…

Your grub takes a bite at the same time it writes “munch.” The whole process doesn’t take more than 3 seconds!

The Point System

Points are awarded to you depending of your eaten percentage of each level. For each level, your score is equal to 10 times your eaten percent. You can see how many points you have earned by clicking on “quit” at any time during the game.

Tips and Strategy

Om Nom Nom is a puzzle game that will surely test out your patience. In order to beat the game, you will need to be in control of your mouse and to focus on the game. Tougher levels are only completable if you position bites correctly. Try to space them enough so they are not overlapping on each other, without making the gap between them more than 1 or 2 pixels. It is also easier to complete levels if you move from the outside to the inside of the image.

Remember that the goal is eat as much as the level as possible, so it’s not necessary to make all of the “tiles” (or “noms”) fit perfectly together like a puzzle. It is necessary to conserve space while you’re eating the level though (place the tiles close together) to make as much room for all of the tiles.
